No. Stable Path Living offers structured, substance-free housing only. We are not a treatment center, rehab, detox, or medical provider.
Who is a good fit?
Adults in recovery who can live respectfully with others, follow house expectations, and maintain sobriety.
How long can I stay?
Length of stay is individualized. Many residents remain for several months as they build stability and progress toward independence.
Can I work while living there?
Yes. Many residents work or look for employment while maintaining house schedules and expectations.
What should I bring?
Personal essentials, clothing, and any approved items for your room. Bedding and basic furnishings are provided.
Do you have different homes for men, women, and single parents?
Yes. As availability grows, we offer men’s, women’s, and a dedicated single parent + child/ren home. Please request current availability.
What is sober living?
Sober living is a substance-free, recovery-focused living environment for individuals who are building stability after treatment or during ongoing recovery. Stable Path Living provides structure, accountability, peer support, and a safe place to practice healthy routines while residents work toward greater independence.
Who is a good fit for the program?
Our program may be a good fit for adults who are committed to remaining substance-free, willing to follow house expectations, and actively engaged in their recovery. Residents should be medically stable and able to participate in daily living without detoxification, inpatient treatment, or continuous medical supervision. Each applicant completes an initial screening to determine whether the home is an appropriate fit.
Is treatment included?
No. Stable Path Living provides sober living housing and recovery support. It does not replace licensed medical, psychiatric, detoxification, or clinical treatment unless the business specifically holds the required licenses.
What are the house rules?
Residents are expected to remain free from alcohol and non-approved substances, respect other residents and the home, follow curfew and visitor policies, complete assigned household responsibilities, attend required meetings, and participate in regular drug and alcohol screening. All expectations are reviewed before move-in so residents understand the structure of the home.
Are residents required to attend recovery meetings?
Yes. Residents are expected to remain actively involved in recovery through approved meetings, outpatient services, counseling, sponsorship, or another appropriate recovery plan. Specific expectations are discussed during the admissions process and may be based on each resident’s individual needs.
How long can someone stay?
Length of stay depends on the resident’s progress, needs, and continued compliance with program expectations. We encourage residents to remain long enough to develop stability, strengthen healthy routines, and prepare for a successful transition to independent living.
What should a resident bring?
Residents should bring comfortable clothing, toiletries, prescribed medications in their original containers, identification, personal recovery materials, and essential daily items. Space may be limited, so we recommend bringing only necessary belongings. A complete move-in checklist is provided before admission.
How much does the program cost?
Program fees vary based on the home, room arrangement, and current availability. Contact Stable Path Living for current pricing, deposit information, payment requirements, and details about what is included.
Do you accept insurance?
Sober living fees are generally paid privately and are not typically covered by health insurance. Outside treatment or clinical services may be covered separately through the resident’s provider. We recommend contacting the insurance company directly to confirm available benefits.
Do you provide transportation?
Transportation availability depends on the resident’s needs, destination, schedule, and available resources. During the admissions process, we discuss transportation for work, treatment, recovery meetings, medical appointments, and other essential activities. Residents may also use public transportation, rideshare services, or approved personal transportation.
Can families or professionals receive updates?
Yes, when the resident provides written authorization. Stable Path Living respects resident privacy and only shares information in accordance with applicable confidentiality requirements. With proper consent, approved family members and referral professionals may receive appropriate updates regarding participation, progress, or significant concerns.
How quickly can someone move in?
Move-in may be possible quickly when a suitable bed is available and the applicant completes the required screening, documentation, and payment arrangements. Contact us to discuss current availability and begin the admissions process.
What happens if a resident returns to substance use?
Resident safety is our first priority. Any suspected or confirmed substance use is addressed promptly and individually. Depending on the circumstances, the resident may be required to complete testing, receive a higher level-of-care assessment, leave the home temporarily, or transition to an appropriate treatment provider. Emergency medical assistance will be contacted when necessary.
